How Commissions Work

Each commissioned piece begins as a collaboration between Cassidy and the collector. You share an idea of what you are looking for in your space, and together you’ll discuss the story, mood, or vibe you’d like reflected, as well as texture, color, composition, size, and number of stitched pieces. Conversations can happen over email, Zoom, or phone - whichever feels most comfortable. Sharing a personal story is optional, but can help guide the piece if you wish.

Cassidy’s process is intuitive and deeply personal; while past works may serve as inspiration, each piece is entirely original and shaped by the organic movement of the materials. She does not replicate other artists’ work, and every painting is created in her distinctive style.

Commissions typically take 2–4 weeks to complete, depending on size and complexity. Once your ideas are shared, Cassidy will respond with a quote and next steps for beginning the process, creating a unique, one-of-a-kind painting designed to complement your space and vision.
